Construction of the new terminal at John Glenn Columbus International Airport reached a major milestone this week with the installation of the first piece of steel for the elevated roadway.

The placement marks the very first piece of steel to rise above ground level, making it the most visible sign of progress to date on the $2 billion CMH Next project.

The new terminal will feature 36 gates, larger passenger spaces, and modern amenities designed to enhance the travel experience. With the roadway steel now in place, travelers and the community can begin to see the vision for the future take shape.
